Legal Help

If you’ve been injured at work, in a motor vehicle accident, or on someone else’s property, you may have coverage for your rehabilitation services and other expenses. Ontario car insurance policies, the Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB), and homeowners or personal liability insurance all provide benefits in case of injury.

You may need a lawyer to access this coverage, though. A lawyer can represent you in dealings with the insurance company — both yours and the other party’s.

Main Street Health can direct you to a lawyer if you need one. We will also work closely with your legal counsel to ensure your claim goes smoothly.

Car Accident Lawyers & Benefits

If you’ve been in a car accident, you are probably eligible for coverage under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule of your Ontario car insurance policy. Basically, every auto insurance policy issued in Ontario must, by law, provide certain benefits to anyone injured in a motor vehicle accident.

Car accident benefits can apply to:

  • drivers (even if at fault)
  • passengers in any vehicle involved
  • pedestrians, cyclists, or bystanders affected
  • caregivers and family members (even those not involved)

These benefits can help cover the cost of rehabilitation services and other expenses resulting from your accident. The staff at Main Street Health will help you figure out which insurance benefits you can access and how to get them.

Our staff can provide a list of local car accident lawyers who can help with your claim. We also have years of experience dealing with car accident claims and can help complete the required paperwork, which is often complex.

No matter who represents you, we will work closely with your lawyer during your claim to help ensure you get the benefits you’re entitled to.

Work-Related Injury or Personal Injury Lawyers & Benefits

If you were injured at work, you likely have coverage through WSIB and/or your employer’s other insurance policies.

If you were injured on someone else’s property or due to someone else’s negligence, their homeowners or personal liability insurance may provide coverage.

Main Street Health has a whole department dedicated to insurance claims and coverage. They can help you figure out what benefits you’re entitled to and how to access them.

You may want or need a lawyer to handle your WSIB or other insurance claim. Main Street Health specializes in workplace and personal injury rehabilitation. Our staff can provide you with a list of lawyers if you need one. They can also assist you with all of the paperwork for your claim.
Like rehabilitation, legal and insurance claims can be a lengthy process. Our team works closely with your lawyer and insurance companies to make your claim as smooth and as successful as possible so that you can focus on your rehabilitation.
